All liamocins were active against human cancer cell lines A-549 (lung), HCT-116 (colon), MCF-7 (breast), and SF-268 (CNS), with IC50 values in the range of 8.0–37 μg/ml, while showing no activity against non-cancer human fibroblast cells.
