The combination of Aureo culture medium and leciquimod, a compound with antiviral activity, has been proven to synergistically activate macrophages, and a new immunostimulatory effect of Aureo culture medium has been recognized.
When activated, macrophages, a type of immune cell, processed cancer cells and cells damaged or killed by anticancer drugs through phagocytosis, and further activated them to produce physiologically active substances called cytokines, thereby enhancing immunity.
